The Institution comprises of two parts.

Principal is the Head both the parts. Medical Superintendent-cum-Vice Principal (MSVP) is the second in-charge. Principal is the overall in-charge. MSVP looks after the hospital activities. In absence of Principal, MSVP assumes the office of Principal. MSVP is assisted by the Deputy Medical Superintendent. Dr. Amarendra Nath Biswas is the present Deputy Medical Superintendent.

There are two Secretaries nominated by the Government of West Bengal. One of them looks after the secretarial work of the college and the other looks after the secretarial work of the hospital. Mr. Anup Majumdar is the Secretary of the College and Mr. Samarendra Nath Das is the Secretary of the Hospital. These two secretaries assist the Principal and MSVP in running the administration of the College and Hospital.

The Heads of the Departments in Hospital and the College are accountable to the Principal, and in his absence to the MSVP for all administrative purposes.
